Layout of duplicates of higher education documents

Citizens and representatives of educational institutions have repeatedly appealed to ENIC Ukraine Center (State Enterprise “Information and Image Center”) with a request to clarify the issues related to the duplicates layout of Ukrainian documents on education. Unfortunately, the number of documents incorrectly issued by Ukrainian universities has increased significantly. Such documents shall not be certified with an apostille stamp or may not be submitted for consular legalization; both procedures provide international circulation of the document. The international usage of incorrectly issued educational documents may lead to problems when they undergo recognition procedure set by foreign competent authorities. ENIC Ukraine Center has appealed to the Department of Higher Education of the Ministry of Education with a request to clarify the issues related to the duplicates layout of higher education documents. The official letter provided explanations regarding the language of duplicates, original document translation, document letterheads and others.

Attention! Higher educational institution alone takes charge of layout of educational documents and their duplicates.
