The Hague Convention does not apply in relations between Ukraine and Kosovo

Attention! According to the Ukrainian Embassy in the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Ukraine, objection has been raised concerning the accession of Kosovo to the 1961 Convention Abolishing the Requirement of Legalization for Foreign Public Documents 1961. Therefore, the Convention does not apply in relations between Ukraine and Kosovo. Apostille on documents for using on the territory of Kosovo will not be affixed.

It is should be noted that according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Ukraine has not recognized the independence of the self-proclaimed Republic of Kosovo and considers it an administrative unit of the Republic of Serbia - the Autonomous Province of Kosovo and Metohija.
